Melba Lodge is a CQC registered residential care home supporting eight adults with mental health needs, learning disabilities, or early dementia.
Located in the Royal Borough of Greenwich, we provide a structured, caring environment where residents can build confidence, develop life skills, and move towards independent living.

Services We offer

Personalised Care

Empower and encourage residents to participate fully in their individual needs and the organisation of their care plans. Plans often include One to one keywork sessions, Talking therapy, Therapeutic groups, leisure activities, Administration of medication.

Supporting Independance

Our team offer advice and support in helping the service users to maintain their tenancy and financial independence. Melba Lodge offer service users advice on budgeting for regularly expenditures such as rent, utility charges, transport, etc.

Developing Skills

Our staff support service users in regaining lost social skills and acquire new ones to facilitate their re-integration into the community. We support in developing their latent skills which including domestic skills development, cooking skills, development of social skills etc.

Community

We also identify and organise social events such as: Melba Lunch, day trips, barbecues, birthday celebrations – to which the resident can invite his/her friends and family – video, film nights, etc, and, at appropriate times seasonal outings. Our staff also encourage clients to participate in leisure activities that are offered by local day centres.
